Inori from japanese animation called "Guilty Crown". The original version is designed by "redjuice". He actually on dA as well. Recently, there is an discussion (or an argument?) between people in a cartoon/manga lover forum in Thailand about "what is Thai style?". It's one of a classic topic amongst Thai artist and audience. Some people gladly embrace japanese manga style and try to adapt it to his/her work while some people just have bad attitude toward it.
So, some people just sarcastically draw modern japanese anime with antique Thai art style and it happens to be popular in the forum. I'm also found it hilarious for some of them. If you're interested you can take a peek here: [link]

Hi, I'm cosplayer and I found your fan art on internet 1 month ago. I love Inori's version you invented! There are more details, clothes are longer, and the style made me think about a game I love : Okami on PS2. So I didn't resist making the cosplay of this Inori's version, that was never made yet (it is more original and more complex than the basic version, which is already superb). So epic... I just keep imaginating her slicing through hordes of enemies in an overall epic way... I personally know nothing of the character, but this design along with the drawing is awesome, fan art or not.

The "What is the (Insert Country here)-style" has always been asked....it is quite a topic of debate. and it is asked because of distinction, of culture, of how a certain country could OWN a certain style unique from others, of which will serve as that country's identity....I often stumble on that question at my country too...but for me,...more than just the style...is the purpose and reason of the artwork that matters....still, you can always add cultural preferences to a certain artwork, to give it a much more-feel-at-home aura....just my opinion...heh, you don't have to believe what I said...sine this artwork is so good enough for debate...(^_^)
