OKAY... although this is almost a week late, I'm sending it over to LinkandLuigi's The Kiba contest anyways...I was originally gonna have Naruto as Luffy, Sasuke as Sanji, Sakura as Nami, Neji as Zoro, Lee as Usopp, Ino as Robin, Shikamaru as Chopper, Kiba as Ace, and Hinata as Vivi. But then.... Ace and Vivi got annoying to draw. Not that THEY are annoying... but they didn't really fit with the current One Piece gang anymore.. and well, I HAD to have Kiba in there cause L&L are Kiba fans. So I mixed it again, and I was having an internal battle between Lee as Usopp and Lee as Luffy. Cause he'd be cute as both. Lee and Usopp both has those ugly eyes, and Lee and Luffy both have those crazy ambitions. But so does Naruto. And he and Luffy are the main characters. But Naruto and Sasuke have the rivalry thing much like Sanji and Zoro. SO... I had to give up Naruto as Luffy and Neji as Zoro. As much as I wanted Neji in there. Shikamaru HAD to stay Chopper cause thats perfect for him. And well... I really like Ino so I made her Nami and got rid of Sakura. Hinata KINDA looks like Robin so I gave her Robin. ANd then Kiba... i had to stick him somewhere so i stuck him with Usopp. hahahhahha. They both have goofy personalities. ANYWAYS... i hope this explains why i picked the characters that i did. hahahha.

Haha! That is funny and a great pic~ Now can you imagine the older generation too? Gai and Kakashi's rivalry though Asuma smokes more like Sanji, Iruka(Chopper), Anko or Kurenai (Robin is such a hard character to pick), Obito(reminds me of Luffy), Kushina kind of fits as Nami, now that I think of it Naruto probably has the most intensive amount of characters who actually each have their own personality....so many characters to choose from though.....lol

This is great!!!! I think Lee as Luffy is so perfect... it's the first thing I noticed and while I never would have thought of it, it works so well!!!
I was wondering why Naruto was Sanji... until I read the bit about Sasuke/Naruto rivalry and Zolo/Sanji rivalry (not to mention everybody ships those pairs...) it made so much sense... And Shika as Chopper. Haha, perfect... XD

this.is.amazing. in crossovers it's alwaya naruto as luffy but i just love lee as luffy (mainly beacuse luffy and lee are my faves for one piece and naruto). he also just fits perfectly for some odd reason.

haha, i think i get why the charcters are who they are! correct me if i'm wrong!:
Hinata=Robin 'cause of hair and eye-colour.
Shikamaru=Chopper 'cause shika means deer.
Naruto=Sanji 'cause of hair-colour.
Sasuke=Zoro 'cause Sasuke uses a katana.
Kiba=Usopp 'cause they use the same kind of pants.
Lee=Luffy 'cause, okay, that one makes sence to all.
but i don't get Nami and Ino...

The idea of Naruto as a chain smoker makes me giggle and inspires my muse... this whole thing is just great, I like how you didn't do the typical kind of parallel and put the Naruto as Luffy because they are the leads of their respective shows and mixed it up... that makes it so interesting!
