Description
After three days, finally complete!My version of (General) Suzy Turquoise Blue, from Garth Nix's Keys to the Kingdom series.
I've been reading Garth Nix's books since I was a kid, and still appreciate them. He has a habit of not describing his characters fully until I've already decided on an appearance for them, however. XD So my Suzy may not look like his at all, but she does, however, have epic hair.
I hope you all enjoy this piece as much as I do!

Yes he is very terrible with character descriptions... I imagined her a little differently but now I won't be able to get this image of her out of my head! Lol. Awesome picture. Her hair is wild... well, yeah, sorta... xD

I never Saw Suzy Blue this way, but after going back and reading the series (and the newest 7th book! >.<) I couldn't imagine her any other way! She's always been a fun character!

I've read as far as Superior saturday in that series. Yeah, Suzie was my favourite.
Of course, Suzy doesn't look like this, but it' matches her character so who cares?

I'd definitely recommend the Keys to the Kingdom series if you were a fan of Abhorsen. ^^ They still read like young adult books, but they're entertaining and creative, just like all of Nix's work.

I think everyone has slightly different visions of the characters, lol~ Like I said, there aren't often full descriptive paragraphs about characters in the books, you just have to pick up details later. I tend to make up my images really early, lol. XD

That's the beauty of books, with a good writer you're only limited by your imagination. However I do like more detailed descriptions so if the author brings in something you haven't been imagining it doesn't break the continuity.

I don't know if that's what it is, but the design on her shirt looks like the designs on the sweater vests my eighth grade history teacher would wear.

Haha. XD Yeah, argyle is a pretty common pattern for those kinds of vests. I didn't bother to look up how to do the pattern correctly though, I just kind of did it. >_> After all, the point was to have clashing patterns and colors. XD
