◊ Biography: Ragnar was born the son of a whore, and not just any whore but the top earning at this particular brothel. The man that owned and ran this brothel so happened to be his father, and he was raised with this knowledge never for a moment allowed to forget where he came from. That he was a bastard and owed his life to his father. Ragnar was shipped off to the Templars by his father at a young age, his father had controlled everything in his life at this point. What he studied, what he did, who he spoke too, even his opinions. This made Ragnar cold and resentful, angry somedays. He felt he could never escape, and that his life would just be ruled by his father. Every breath he took would be at his fathers whim, he could see how that man had turned his mother and young sister in slaves and it angered him. He took out his frustrations on multiple conquests, and usually got quiet good at hiding one from the other. One in particular was with a young squire named Njal, the lighest of hair and almost demonic of eyes that had attracted Ragnar’s on-going interest. And after a while the young boy started to idolise Ragnar, adored him and some say even loved him. But Ragnar being the beast he was tore the boys feelings to shreds when he sought freedom and power like it was the very air he breathed, and so at the age of 24 after many years of study and training with the templars, he faked his own death.
Leaving the boy alone, sad, thinking the man he loved was dead.

The assassins approached him to join them, giving him death as a way out. It was during the initiation of the new squires that he drank from a cup of wine and seemed to have died, his body taken away and kidnapped by the assasins to start his new life. His first task with his new freedom was to rid the world of his controlling father, and to free his mother and sister. Over the past year they have moved from a small farm to the cities, taking on the ruse as merchants. His mother making a success out of being a lace-maker and his sister learning the secret trade too, he took the front as a spice merchant. His second life even a secret from the mother he loves to dearly and the sister he hopes to protect, but in turn he keeps them secret from all those he meets.
