Definitely my favorite villain from all of Dragonball, and one of my faves of all time. The way Toriyama characterized him was just excellent: cruel, cold, sadistic, genocidal, and spiteful, all wrapped behind a polite voice and smiling face.

The voice actor for Freeza, Ryūsei Nakao was excellently chosen, very soft-spoken normally, then bursting into maniacal laughter. I don't know what The Ocean Group and Funimation were smoking when they cast women to play him with old grandma voices. Seriously? Come on, they could have done a lot better.

Basically, this started as a sketch which turned into a drawing I really liked which turned into this: Freeza in all his evil, self-serving, planet-destroying, genocidal glory.
