Batman - "Your pyromania ends tonight Firefly"
Firefly - "You... I'll roast you alive you flying rodent!!"

I got hit by a bolt of inspiration and motivation last week and wound up drawing this, the first proper fight of the Batman of Gotham against his first super villain foe, Garfield Lynns aka Firefly!

Serving as the first main antagonist of the first arc, it's Firefly's mass attempted arson of Gotham that finally gives Bruce the push to become the Batman, soon after hunting down and confronting the flying pyromaniac in an under construction building, saving the life of Commissioner Gordon in the process. One long and tough battle later, the flight of Firefly ends and the legend of the Batman of Gotham begins, causing unintended events for the future. Though that's for the future.

Design wise, TBoG Firefly is mostly based off of The Batman (2004)'s Firefly with elements the Arkham series Firefly and small bits of the DCAU Firefly too! Heck even TBoG Firefly's personality and motives are a mix of them as well, though mainly taking from the Arkham series Firefly rather than The Batman (2004) Firefly.
