I am, unfortunately, not that pleased with how it looks. It seems rather flat or awkward in some areas. And I really had a hard time figuring out how to draw the sword. Guess I need some work on perspective. It would help if I had a real sword I could have someone hold in a position so I could figure out how to draw it. x_xI really have to stop using paper that has stuff on the other side, but I can't help myself. XD

Yeah...I actually drew it a lot longer to begin with but I changed it later because of what I was trying to achieve. It didn't work out. @_@

have you tried looking at a pic of the character and drawing it free handedly, using the pic as a reference? I'm really bad at perspective, too, so I totally understand.

I do that for practice a lot. I was afraid if I used a reference it might look too similar to the original, in which case it could get me into trouble. x_x

Naw, just say who it is, or who it's modeled after, and you'll be fine. There's fan art all over this cite. lol.
