Here's the classic red and gold Iron Man armor, designated by Tony as "Hot Rod" (no relation to the Mark XXII armor from Iron Man 3 aside from the name).

An drastic improvement of the past three armors, Hot Rod is the first suit to integrate an advanced on-board system such as improved arc reactor efficiency, jamming and hacking systems, repulsor rays, machine guns, heat-guided rockets, improved sensors with HUD, and enhanced flight capability. This makes it far more effective on land and air than the previous suits. Getting rid of the antenna, Tony can now contact J.A.R.V.I.S. with the armor's on-board computer.

My concept of this armor is that it would be the one most iconic to the public as the new generation of Iron Man armors started with this model due to its new upgrades. This suit would also be notable as Tony wore the Hot Rod Armor when he first joined the Avengers.

Design-wise, it is kind of reminiscent of the Iron Man Mark III armor from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
