Hi there, how you'r doing folks?
I would like to post this digital painting I've been all excited to post since I made it! *chuckles* I started to write this description on monday but I never finished it, until now. Time it's been like water in my hands since my mom went with my sister to her collegue cos I have to work double, or triple! And on Thursday most of my time I took it to take care of Hugo (family pet) cos he got sick, he got pneumonia and was about to die but we were lucky to notice it and take him to the vet in time and I'm taking care of him so he can get better I couldn't go online at that day either for that reason. (sorry I missed the thursday) And today, well...I spent my free time telling to a dear one about something really amazing that happened and I had a really happy and stupendous day That's all what I can say *ehem*...So a big part of this description was written on monday

This is Francouer, from the french movie "A monster in Paris", and no I haven't seen the movie yet cos I never knew if it was released in mexico, but I've made a pic of this character cos I felt inspired to do it due the so awesome warm and cute fanart of this show! You know dA artists spiritual energy it's powerful! To proof that, it's not the first time I feel inspried to draw a character from a movie I haven't seen!
There's a very funny story behind this pic! It happens that I was feeling like drawing this buddy since a year ago because I saw the art of the people, because I really loved the way they potrayed him on the art and that made me feel like drawing him and watching the movie! The first time I saw art about this movie was on August and September of last year, by chance, and since them I was waiting for it to get released here with because I really liked how people drew the character Francouer. But then suddenly I had some dificulties in my daily life and I forgot this subject about the movie (cos I had some things that worried me) until this week!
Monday morning I looked if I had mensajes here like I usually do in early morning, before working, and then I saw one of my drawings on a collection and wanted to see what kind of collection was, and it happened it was one about cartoons and movies and one pic of that dude was there! And I said "woooah! I remember this dude! I wasn't going to be released this year?" But later I figured out that no, it was released on october 2011, and for a moment I got confused and I thought it was this October! ...Oh my! that was sacrilege for sure! It was really embarassing for me to confuse that! Well, at that time was when I made this drawing because I've been feeling inspired to draw him since long time and at that day I reminded him *chuckles* I know this isn't a great or striking painting, even the face doesn't look much like him and the expression doesn't look natural at all This face it's almost inexpressive, sorry But maybe it's cos it's a drawing I made cos I just couldn't stand the urge of drawing the guy and I did this a bit quickly so I could focus to do my daily duties
OOOOOOOOOOOOOH MY! I love this character!!! Even if I haven't seen the movie yet It's that francoeur it's just too adorable and heartwarming character! In the words of one of the most smart, cute and clever person I've had the pleasure to meet:

I have never seen something that makes a character both masculine and innocent that I can remember...
Ususally if a film tries to make a male character innocent it makes him a total idiot, but Francoeur wasnt . . .he was an extremely intelligent and gifted individual. And strangest of all he wasnt the hero of teh story, you could almost say that Francoeur was teh damsel in distress XD with his friends going to great lengths to save him...But oddly it stilll feels like francoeur has the ability inside to be a hero"

And I add this quote here cos I don't think I could describe Francoeur like he did! Oooh gosh! That was such an amazing, beautiful and accurate description! I don't think I would have said it better in a millon of years *chuckles* He's right, on all of it! When they try to make a male character innocent they just make an idiot of him! And like he said, I also don't remember a character that could be all these things; innocent and cute but strong and with intelligence. But I always had the feeling that this one character was such an awesome and exceptional one since I saw him on the fanart here! I know I haven't seen the movie yet, but it he says so it must be true! I know he's so smart and reflexive and also he's really a lot like me wich it's an awesome thing! So it was natural he loved Franceour I think cos I feel I will do too when I see the movie :giggles: It makes me very happy to have his accurate description of him from someone who I really trust who had seen the movie and it's a lot like me
You know...It always was my dream to make a character just like Francoeur! I mean, one that was both innocent and intelligent (and not an idiot! I hate when people try to make innocent characters and end up being totally idiot characters! ) sensitive and yet strong! I think
I'm just so happy to know out there there is such extraordinaire character Because a character like this it's such a great example for the society, but it's so rare to see this kind of character! And I just aspire and dream to make a character like him by myself someday *happy sigh* Cos I always longed to create a character that was a good role mode of how a man should be, since it's very rare to that on male characters. But maybe I never will be able to do such interesting and great character like this one....or maybe I already did it?...Maybe...because when I saw Franceour fanart I felt a lot of my character Faikel's vibe in him....OH MY!! Maybe....maybe faikel it's a lot like this character!!! ....Heheh, I think a part of me really yearns so cos if he is this would mean that I've fulfilled one of my greatest dreams! One that I had since I was little, since I can remember doing my first doodle :3 The dream of giving the world a character who can be realistic so they can idenity with, and who also can be great guidance to the people I think I'll find it out when I watch the movie....
You know, there's funny thing about this movie, I was doubting so much of if seeing it or not days ago XD becuase I thought for what I read from the people who had seen this movie that it might end on a sad ending, and I wonder if you might end with Francoeour being sad because she didn't accepted him...but, thanks to this awesome person I cuote now I got the info that the end isn't sad He says that probably Francoeour it's more like a son for her, so it's more like a parenthood methaphor. Which it's one of my favorite kind of methaphors So I'll go and see the movie with no worries now when I have the time of course XD
