With the haircut, the golden eyes, and the muscular build I'm happier now than before about them casting Jamie. I picture Alex and Jace---but heard he was being a brat about taking the part. I read an article and from it Cassandra Clare states that Jamie nailed the character of Jace. Thats what's important...its JACE as a person (his character) that we all fell in love with because--lets face it--no matter how he's described in the book, we each have a different view of what he actually looks like. We all find different people attractive, so that's generally how we'll see the character. I'm attracted to men with dark hair...so even though I know Jace has blonde, I always picture him with dark hair. I love the character of Jace--his personality etc--and if Jamie nailed it so well that he made the AUTHOR of the book cry, then I'm all for him. I can still picture Jace however I want in my mind when reading the books--which will ALWAYS be better than the movies. --Rachel Tibbs

WOWWWWWWWWW is all I have to say... I can't even imagine how much work you had to do to make him look remotely similar to JAce XD can you do the same por Peeta/Josh or is it too much to ask?? jajaja
cause I don't like neither of the actors of the casts :S Although I didn't like Petyffer either -not a good actor, in my opinion- I would have chosen Jeremy Sumpter for Jace (L)

actually i didnt have that much to do!! i didnt see him as jace in the beginning but now i really can imagine it. and he is the better actor than a.p.! i'm looking forward to it.

as for josh and peeta... my imagination is good. but not that good! dont get me wrong, its nothing personal with the actor, he might do a really good job. but... i LOVED peeta and THAT just isnt him! *sigh*

love jeremy sumpter, great looks and even more amazing: good actor!

I understand what you mean Josh is a great actor -I love most of his movies and I can't get enough of ABC of love- but he just isn't Peeta and there's nothing they could do to make him look like MY Peeta; and I won't even start on Cinna....

thanks! actually i just colored jamies blue eyes without changing the brightness. its a little difficult with "gold", it tends to look like light brown if too dark and like yellow if too light.

I give you credit, this is probably the best photomanip of JCB (who I hate with a passion as Jace) yet. Even then, I still think he kind of looks like a blond Magnus here (possibly the hair?) and is nowhere near as hot as Jace (*ahem*Alex Pettyfer) should be. But definite props on the manip job.

thanks i didnt see jamie as jace in the beginning, either, but now i'm starting to really warm up to that idea. AP had the looks, alright, but his recent movies "I am Nr 4" or, worse, "Beastly", didnt show much acting talent in my opinion (and i really TRIED to see it). well, casting jace is done and i hope the casting directors knew what they were doing. Wished i could see those casting vids...

Mmm. I learned from Harry Potter that if the people don't look right, I will never get into it. So far I haven't seen a casting decision for TMI that I like, so I highly doubt I'll be wasting money and time on this film. Same goes for The Hunger Games, unfortunately.

Sigh.

Don't know why they do this to us fans... But it happens every time.

i think i know how you feel. same here when i saw the peeta casting... but thats why i prefer books to movies anyway! i just truly hope HG will get the depth in story it deserves and TMI wont turn out to be a batmanish twilight with runes (those carriage and motorcycle designs disturbed me...) as for the casting choices: we will see! i'm still looking forward to both movies though
