How would Sesshoumaru react??Well, we've already seen her die twice in the manga... and miraculously come out of it alive.
but what if she didn't live?
I dunno, I just want people's opinion on it. I can't quite decide what Sess would do. He's too full of himself to break down and cry, but he cares for her too much to simply watch the life leave her unattended.
So tell me, what's your opinion?
Anyway, I was thinking about Sess and Rin today (Which, yes people, I think theyre adorable too. I just think of them more as father daughter than potential couple... ya know? besides, in reality, Sess fancied kagura.
) when "Big Yellow Taxi" by Counting Crows came on. And it made me think about the situation i was talking about. I can see him holding her, letting down his pride to give her some comfort, and in her last breath, she gives him a flower, cuz she's a flower nazi. So yeah. This will be scrapped soon, due to the fact thats it crap. XD

this is a very captivating picture. It makes me want to cry but that's not a bad thing. I think this a good interpritation as to how he would act. i can really feel the emotion behind it. i have a feeling he is hiding blurry golden eyes behind those bangs. rin wouldn't want to see him cry. Believe it or not, I'm working on a fan fic where this happens. I believe that he would bury her, go somewhere by himself for a while to grieve - "closing his eyes, he simply ceased to function. The pain in his chest was about to break him, but he forced himself to breathe in, then breathe out, then breathe in again; even when a crystal tear slid gently down his face, he did not flinch. So this is what it is to grieve, he thought..." - then after mourning her loss, he'd get back into his usual routine: hunting down the most powerful demons he can find and killing them, trying not to feel guilty about the fact that he couldn't do anything to save her.

I think he would fly into a rage and kick the butt of the first person/demon he sees. Over time he would become even frostier. I've felt that he's so aloof because that is how he protects his heart.

If i know the Sexy demon overlord better lol i would think he would try to act like his usual self but go into a randon rage if the topic or subjectof rin is brought up. But i do think he would mourn. She is the only thing besides power he has to live for (jaken can just rot in hell he's annoying.) RIn loved seshowmaru like a father, and sesshy enjoyed her way of innocence and the way she seemed cheribic. I love the pic

Well honest? I would think for the first time Sesh would break down, no matter how strong he is, if he couldn't protect her and she died? He would blame himself, and then go on a rampage killing any that were involved in her death....scary thought...by the way...

I believe...he would make an actual expression. You know, he always has that blank or stern face all the time? I think he might actually, you know, LOOK sad. Because he'd still have pride cause she's a human and what-not, let alone a child, but he'd show sadness possibly.

I agree that Sesshoumaru would do anything he could to get her back, even if he had to travel to the ends of time, but what if he couldnt get her back immediately? or at all? What if it was centuries before he could see her again... if not only in death. I wonder how he'd react.

She hasn't? She probably did, you just forgot O:! Buuut, Rin dies a third time when she's a bit older, and Sesshoumaru goes to great effort to create her a new body to put her soul into (which kind of resembles alchemy at that point) and it comes out lookin' like it has three arms, so he apologizes and says he has to kill her, and then she shows him that she brought his arm back from hell... which is invalid at this point as he regains his arm when he gets Bakusaiga or whatever it's called. Anyway, because he directly stole her soul from hell, she basically becomes immortal until she truly wants to die... which hasn't happened yet. And they live until Kagome's time, and in that period, Sess keeps his young appearance, but grows twice the size~ Which is your Sesshoumaru, as I'm aware. And they have three kids, (originally named Shikamaru, Raine, and Shouren- but are now Shinsetsu, Rein, and Shouren) and a giant InuYasha which is a different story. Of course a lot happens in between, but yeah..

Since I don't follow the manga, and I've only seen the anime, I really don't know what Sess would do for certain... Although, I agree. I think Rin is very important to him, even more than he cares to admit.
