Argo Gulskii is a major character in G-Gundam, a prisoner of the Neo-Russian Government he is forced to compete in the Gundam Tournament on the condition that if he wins his gang will be realized from prison. Argo was an extremely dangerous space pilot who terrorized Neo_Russian for quite some time before he was captured. His immense size and great skill in combat made him a very formidable opponent and despite what one might think about him he is also very crafty and can come up with strategy on the fly. Despite being a career criminal he is a fairly loyal and honorable man and becomes an invaluable member of the shuffle alliance.

While Argo is canonically only 26 years old I think Kevin Durand (Lost/The Strain) 48 is hands down the perfect actor for the role. He's 6'6, huge, and is one of the few actors who can pull off a really believable (that is not stereotypical 'bad guy' sounding Russian accent). He's been doing an amazing job on The Strain as a sci-fi action hero with some amazing fight scenes. He also has played numerous villains, like his small but memorable role on Lost or as the Blob in X-Men Origins Wolverine, before, so seeing him as a notorious space pirate is not a very hard thing to imagine.
