Description First caving of Amaya with her new design (Which will be submitted at the end of the month) I've always wanted to do something like this Special thanks to nekonotaishou and their amazing tutorial here  (which I relied on heavily again), as well as RadenWA and their looping background tutorial here.  I've tried looping backgrounds before and failed miserably, but with their easy tutorial, doing this was fun XD

I'm kinda at a loss with Amaya. She Alpha now, with a unique trait in the works. I mean, what's next? There's no 'after Alpha' status. She has no pups currently, which is true to the character that she's based off of, but wouldn't be a wise decision considering that she will soon have a unique trait XD I'm thinking about getting more RPs going with her, but we'll see XD

Thanks Would you have any advice for next time? The lines seem very inconsistent to me, and I'm wondering if there's a way to fix that XD

Just pay extra attention from drawing to drawing; there's no easy way to keep lines consistent in animation, unfortunately.

Is it possible to animate for you with tracing paper or layer by layer? Super late I know but I happened to come across this. When I've done animations (very rarely and badly, but ) the way I always did it was to do the first part of the drawing, that is, the first frame. Then duplicate it all onto a new layer/set of layers above the "first frame" and then edit the copy to produce the second frame. Et cetera. With running, of course, eventually significant edits are needed or you really do have to redraw it, but having the previous frame right there beneath you as you work can really help lining things up. If you're doing traditional work, tracing paper would have the same value.

Yeah, I do the same thing with Photoshop, where I keep the layer on a lowered opacity and use it to guide the next frame.

Best way I've ever found to do the thing on digital. TBH it wasn't nearly as wobbly as it could've been so you're definitely on the right track.
