I was surprised when I clicked on full-view and the candlelight started sputtering. I do really like the idea of animating it. The scene itself is very peaceful, and the lighting and facial expressions of both mother and child bring that out.
As for improvements, there are only two things that need to be looked at:
-First, China's hand is a bit small. It's also a bit of a strange shape, but that's understandable. Hands are the hardest thing to draw in everything, I know.
-Second, the candlelight, although nicely executed, is choppy. It could be a bit softer, to make the light itself more gentle.
All in all, there are a lot of good points about this piece. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/> Just keep working on the proportions of your characters, and getting that candle flicker just right!

This is quite the piece, and an especially sweet scene at first glance. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/e/eā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Eek)"/>
Vision:
Overall, the scene is pleasing to the eye, as is the tender warm colors between baby and babysitter. I love the plush pillows and designs on both their clothing and bed set, but several details are a bit pressing, and clash with the soft love.
First, the flickering light shouldn't be moving all at once. An intermediate ImageReady user can see you're simply moving the layer with the candlelight erratically across the screen, and it detracts from the gentleness of the relationship between China and Japan. It's slightly crude, but it's among your first attempt. I wouldn't be discouraged, proper lighting takes a long, long time to flicker properly in animations.
Originality:
While APH characters aren't original, this representation is. I don't often look for China/Japan couples, much less scenes in which one is a different age than another You can obviously tell I don't follow Hetalia. I like the idea of a loving relationship between these two countries, though both supported an isolationist policy when the Western hemisphere first decided to traverse the globe. It's a nice touch.
Technique:
I've already mentioned the lightning. However, though your flat coloring is fine, the shading's a bit hard on the eyes. Also, if you've an artistic eye, you can easily spot the stock images used as the background as well as the design on China's clothes and on the bed sheets. The images simply look slapped on, as they do not fold or bend with the creases in the cloth (and give credit where credit is due). However, I don't blame you for doing that (as I myself simply slap images on when putting logos on a wrinkly shirt. It's extremely hard to alter images on clothing in motion that way).
However, for the stock image, the background looks like a messy hospital office, what with stray mattress bunkers and papers littering the floor. However, it does have an Asian feel in the window structure, and that earns you credit.
And one rather minor thing, (but it sticks out quite a bit once noticed), you can easily see where you actually used a select tool to cut out some of the candle lighting without blurring (left side of the picture, over the background near the center). It's a jarring effect, as it clashes with the general smoother blending of light and shadow. This chunk could more easily have been gotten rid of if you used a wider feathering radius.
e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā¦ " width="17" height="16" alt="" title="Star!"/> Impact:
Overall, I like the gentle watchfulness of China over Japan, and the main focus of the picture is on them, which is all well and good. However, the erratic lighting and gloomy background detract from this loving atmosphere, and has a more negative effect on the impact of the piece.
My suggestion is to consider softening the glow and blending it more thoroughly. However, your ideas mean well, and those are the essence of art. A considerate amount of effort went into this piece, for sure.

Hurr Durr, time for a critc of failure from Xena.. Erm..
Well, first off, the flaws in this are that, one, you shouldn't have made the candle's light animated, it spazzes up my computer and it isn't the best idea to do. Secondly, is it me or does China have womanly features on his face.. I'm not into APH, so maybe or maybe not..
Okay, now the amazing parts in this picture. One, the lines are very smooth, two, the color is amazing, three, the designs on the blanket, fou- There are too many to count XD
This picture is actually a perfect picture and nothing should be changed about it.. except for the candle, that's really buggin' me now XD
Gosh I suck at these

T-thank you so much for the kind words...;///A//;
im not nice person at all, still have bad times and hurt someone feelings..but at the same time i want to give more love to the world,,mostly for the person who has born me into this beautiful world,,my mom.
i really appreciate and thankful to be born as human,,
i still learning how to make up my own mind,,and now i know its better after i realize that in this world, everything is not immortal,,everything gonna changes,,sad or happy, rich or poor, life or die..rise and down,,everything moves and changes, even the feeling it self, and love also changes into boreness,,just no one is immortal.
since then i know, everything i gonna mad at before,i just feel relaxed, because i know im master of my own mind..and for what im mad?
mad only give more hurt in person and others.
and after realize someday,i could die anytime, whenever i dont know the time..and is that im already set?
i want to enjoy every single second and be nice..so whenever i gone from this world,i can relieved..that im set if judges time come for me..before of that,i want to return the greatest favor to best person in world,,
im sorry for the long reply,,i just want to share little my feeling..><
aww thats very beautiful song, thank you somuch
