I love how you're getting all the different textures across - bricks, metal, grass etc. Great work!

This really stands out, color wise and everything! This is really cute.Β
I'll check out your game (keeping the link aside to put it on my tablet when home)!

Thanks.
It's just the usual stuff: a lot of patience, lots of practice and an occasional blood sacrifice doesn't hurt either

Awesome work, I always loved weathered objects and structures for some reason. I guess they have a unique charm to them.

yeah, objects with a bit of age are not only more interesting to look at, but also more interesting to draw than new shiny stuff in most cases

Very interesting style that you have, the colours look great! Do you have an art station account?

Thanks. No, I don't. I should probably look into making an account there, but laziness is laziness. I will probably get to it eventually when I have more time from work

I really love this house! It's got just the right amount of quirk for me. Lovely art as always, I wonder how long a piece like this takes you?

Thanks.Β
I'm not exactly sure, as I sketched it a couple weeks ago together with a lot of other stuff and drew it over multiple days. I would say it would be two or three days of decent work if I add it up.

Interesting, it makes sense. I always feel like my art should take me a lot less time to make, but in reality I can hear that I'm not really slower than anyone else. Just feels that way when you don't really talk much with other artists, I guess.

It always takes a lot of time. If I'm doing something I'm super used to, like towards the end of a game where I have to make 50 assets in the same style, than of course I get faster towards the end. But I am trying to learn and push myself here and that is bound to take more time

Yeah I get what you're saying - we'll only get better with practice.
I'm looking forward to seeing what this game project brings from you. It sounds like it might be a Point & Click game, and those are right up my alley.

Yeah, something like point and click, at least mostly
