I don't really like metaphors with wings, but it looks beautiful.

I have depression, which I began to seriously realize only 2-3 years ago. I also used the metaphor of the wings then, which were completely black, pitched and tattered. Now I feel like I was over-dramatizing, but let's make allowance for the fact that I was much more stupid and did not realize many things.
Now I want to use this metaphor again, but with a twist. I still have depression, which is indicated by one of my black, torn wing almost to the bones. Golden feathers are inserted into it, which is an analogy for the support of my loved ones. It is they who insert all the golden feathers, helping to restore the wing, so that I can fly again. The second is white, also with part of the golden wings, it is a little dirty, a little shabby, but still working. The white wing represents the part of me that doesn't give in to depression, the part of me that still throws strength into the fight.

It is banal to admit to random people that you are not okay and to admit to yourself that you have depression without fear is already a big step. I hope someday I can fly again.
