We all walk down the street and watch our new bulbs spring from the ground and think how lovely our gardens will be this year, then when fall comes we watch the leaves fall. What a lovely site it is in the mountains when you see the multitude of colors. Do we think how beautiful death is, for the leaves are dead. Closer to home we also have beauty in death. Here is beautiful flower. The flower is dead. The leaves have all fallen away to become soil. What remains are the seeds which will soon fall. To me this is as beautiful as the original flower, though no one will see as it will only remain on the stem for a day or two so a new bloom can take its place.
