Family: Lilac (Wife, Ribombee), Petal (daughter, Ribombee)
Nature: Mild
Characteristic: Highly curious
Ability: Swarm

Backstory:
Sorrel hatched into a rather large Beautifly family much like a good majority of Bug type Pokemon are, as the 4th oldest of all of his siblings.  For the most part he has lived a rather comfortable life.. however, not without his aunt trying to take advantage of him and some of his brothers and sisters by making them into her babysitters. While, Sorrel didn't mind it too much at first, eventually, it started to get on his nerves, especially when he was a Beautifly himself. This eventually led him to just cutting contact with his aunt, as he didn't want to be stuck as a babysitter his whole life.

When he got a job as a gardener's assistant some odd years later, this led him to meeting Lilac who initially didn't really like him, but after working with him for awhile started to grow on him, her reasons for disliking him at first are her own. Eventually, the two married and had a daughter, Petal. Over the next few years, their lives were uneventful until their kid was 16, when a group of pirates kidnapped them and took them to Mizu.

For the next few months, they lived miserably as prisoners, and it seemed to get worse when Petal was taken to an unknown fate. Luckily, this was when their luck turned, as Excaliber and the ESS arrived to rescue them, and reunited him with their daughter. For now, the Sorel, along with his wife and daughter, are living at the ESS base, hoping to eventually get a new home when things have fully settled down.

Personality:
Sorrel is a pretty gentle bug, who wishes to avoid conflict most of the time unless he's in a situation that calls for it, meaning he's not the kind of guy you'd see picking a fight with anyone unnecessarily.  He's also fairly patient with other 'mons as evidenced with him putting up with his aunt's shenanigans for a long while before finally saying "Screw it."

This being said he's also a VERY curious individual, almost to a fault at times, as he's known to some times stick his..erm..proboscis?... into business that doesn't concern him, particularly when he overhears conversations about things he's particularly interested in hearing. (Especially adventures.) Though when he's caught doing it he usually apologizes profusely hardly letting up on it.  Which leads to another point about him..he's a bit overly apologetic at times, meaning if he does something even slightly wrong he's probably going to be left saying sorry for at least 15 to 30 seconds at the very least.

This all being said, however, he's a one papa butterfly who is a joy to be around despite his cat killing curiosity.

Trivia:

- Because of his mouth is a proboscis, he has to have his food blended up into a smoothie to be able to eat it.
- To sell the joke of her aunt being the entitled family member of his family, she's named Karen.
- His species was a conscious decision as to not have another Vivillon, as Timothy's mother, Isabella, already filled that slot..
- He has a phobia of his wings being torn off, something that as much as he admits is likely not to happen, is something that he's been afraid of ever since reading a really dark story when he was younger. (An action that he was scolded for.)
- He can't actually taste anything when he eats due to the complications mentioned earlier.
