I was going to say something crude like "Nice cocks," but then I read that this was a present for your mom and that wouldn't feel right, plus they're technically not cocks so nevermind.

There's just something expressive in their weird little dinosaur faces, isn't there? I love them too <3

We used to have chickens, and I -swear- one would be able to see emotions.
They were cuddle-chickens, wanting to sit on your lap and be petted all day, and one could truly see bliss when being petted and dissapointment when being put back into the coop, or excitement when one of them found a worm.
Weird! But so true!

There are 6 chooks next door, in the middle of the suburbs. And I never get sick of hearing them in the morning doing the soft bok-bok-bok baaaawk sounds. ;_;

Nice work! The photos I were referencing was a barred rock hen, a buff lincolnshire, aaand I don't actually know what the white ones were, but leghorn seems about right!

I would gladly accept such an honorable award!
I have a Barred Plymouth Rock myself and used to have a Rhode Island Red (poor dear was killed by a weasel) but when I got them, I learned everything I possibly could about every chicken there was c:
