You always manage to do such amazing colourwork. I love how the scales are jsut lighter bits of colour; makes them look irridescent. Same with the horns and teeth ...I'll have to give that a go myself.

Oh jeez, what a nice comment! I really appreciate that. I actually looked at a lot of the official and fan-painted Windstone dragons by M.Pena for some color inspiration, the people that do those are crazy talented with the palettes they create.

i wish i could draw like this @_@ i have a book on how to draw dragons, but so far i can really only do profile shots of the heads and necks XD I SUCK AT BODIES for basically everything XDD and the shading is AMAZING! i suck at shading too XD

It's funny how much I can see your human style in these dragons. The eyes/eyebrows make them look very intelligent and thoughtful. And I LOVE the simple scale texture you did here, it really works!
