Description
Having a minor artblocking/ style-crisis at the moment. I don't feel like finishing any of my other things right now. I wanted to do something with a lot of white.What exactly is it about? I have my own back story to it, but I'll leave the guessing to you.
Oh, and I really love green eyes.

I really like the way you used the negative space to create her hair. You still managed to get a feeling of texture without having to do all the shade work. It also makes the whole piece more fluid. I don't know if it was what you were going for, but her hair almost seems to drip around her like a thick liquid. I think that accentuates the whole sad, mourning feeling and compliments the red tears nicely. You were able to get away with the lack of detail in the hair because you paid a lot of attention to the shading with the skin tones and her eyes.
There were two things that caught my attention as maybe needing a little more cleanup. Her nose seems tilted slightly to the left instead of being straight. The only other thing I almost didn't see. The corner of the right eye seems to extend past the facial structure just slightly. Just trim back the far-most corner a bit and you're good.
The above is, of course, only my opinion. Overall, I really love the piece.

I drew it in SAI, painted the face in photoshop, then the hair and other sharp lines in SAI, and finally some post-processing (color balance, sharpening, etc.) in photoshop. I jump back and forth a lot.
