Just something to fill up the time in between "proper" works. I started this picture with no idea what I was going to draw. ^^ Probably going in scraps soon.Heather copyright Konami.

Ah, oekaki would be fun to draw with a tablet! Love this picture a lot! ^^ The dark end of the corridor is very creepy. And I like what you did for the background. I think there was a similiar scene in the game too, when Heather had to go down the stairway in the sewers. But this one seems a bit creepier 'cause it's more dark than what was in the game.

It may be a simple picture (subject, etc) but it really captures a feel of intrigue. What is Heather going to find at the end of the corridor in such darkness? Hmm... makes you ponder

What is this Oekaki stuff anyway? Now that I've got a tablet I'm getting a grasp at how people can crank out good things so quickly, and being able to view the process alone is interesting. Background first then character, pfft, to think I never tried that.
But I like it, ultimately elegance in simplicity, and ominous.

Oekaki, as far as I know, concerns going to one of those oekaki boards, signing in, and then drawing away. No need to download anything (though your Java needs to be enabled). You can sign up at the link I provided and try it. I use animated PaintBBS so you can see the drawing process.
