"Chrysalis is around the same size as Celestia. Luna is smaller than Celestia, so these two shouldn't be equal in height."
While that WAS true by season one, but she grew larger in s2e4, Luna Eclipsed, and is now approximately the same size as Celestia. This happened supposedly because when she was turned back from Nightmare Moon she lost severe magical power, that power leading to the size of said alicorn. Twilight and Cadence have not grown yet because, and this is all theory, they were not born alicorns. Yes. I just critiqued your critique.

Well, I don't mind if you critique my critique. I only hope it doesn't start a chain of critiques.
Also you theory is sound, but I always see Luna being a bit shorter than Celestia, both in my mind and in the show. It's not a giant difference, but it is visible. It's just is a small signification that she is the younger of the two alicorns.

That's true, but part of my theory is that true born alicorns are notΒ classified by age, but by magical energy, meaning that if trained enough, some alicorns "mature" faster than others. That leading to the fact that Celestia trainedΒ a bit more in magic, that leading to Celestia being able to control sun, moon, and most likely the stars, while Luna has only power over moon and stars. That meaning, is Luna were to train in magic more, she could become more powerfulΒ than or equal toΒ Celestia, leading to her also being larger and more "mature."

Wow! You must be putting a lot of effort in these! The lines, colouring and shading look so neat! You really do an amazing work drawing Chrysalis on your pictures! Her eyes, horn, mane... every single of Her glorious features look so well drawn! I also like these green accents on Chrissie's body - they are giving an impression that Her body is kind of scaled at some spots - a more lizard than insect feeling.Β

Now that would have been awesome. Too bad that all we got in the finale was a crappy pop song at the very end... Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of A Canterlot Wedding. I had problems with it, mostly with the This Day Aria song and Twi's friends not helping her out all that much.
Nevertheless, this is still pretty awesome, my friend. Great job.

I think I need to point this out. Luna is meant to guard the night and the Changelings invaded during the day. And we saw the point I'm making earlier in the finale when Luna arrives at night to take over for Celestia.
Even though my point makes a lot of sense, I still do wish Luna had more screentime in the Season 2 finale. But alas, we cannot change it...

Maybe Chrysaiis chose to fight Celestia because she knew she'd get her flank kicked by Luna if she invaded during the night. It's really a shame that she only really fought Celestia.

I love this image and actually was hoping to request some information. I know you said you used Promarker and Prismacolor in the mix of this, but I was curious if maybe you could suggest the base colors for Chrysalis in plain Copic sketch colors. Hope to hear back and keep up the amazing work.
