Governor Ratcliffe, Wiggins, Percy, Prudence and Wendy all belong to Disney.
Summary: AU that takes place after Cinderella 3 and Pocahontas 2 (the events of both films happen at the same time).
Plot: About a year after C3 & P2 both Cinderella and Prudence give birth to children (Pru married the Grand Duke and she and Cindy became pregnant around the same time then Prudence gave birth just a few days earlier than Cindy). Unfortunately, Prudence's boy is stillborn, and Cinderella dies just after giving birth to a healthy girl. Pru tries to hold everything and everyone together, but the old king can't handle the grief and dies, Cindy's prince falls into despair and that's when Lady Tremaine strikes. She gets ahold of the fairy godmother's wand again and uses it to destroy the fairy godmother and enchants the broken hearted prince into marrying Drizella then snaps the magic wand so its spell can never be undone. Tremaine tries to kill Cindy's newborn daughter, but Prudence and the Grand Duke intervene and rescue the little girl, though the Grand Duke is fatally wounded in the process. After the Grand Duke dies, Pru and the girl find Anastasia and her husband Ben (the baker) who hide them until Pru is able to contact Wiggins (her brother). Pru fibs and tells Wiggins the baby is hers not Cinderella's (Lady Tremaine believes Prudence and the baby both drowned). Wiggins makes all the necessary arrangements to bring his elder sister and her baby from France to England. Governor Ratcliffe, desperate to avoid being executed, pays the expenses for Wiggins. In exchange, Prudence must pose as Governor Ratcliffe's wife and tell the king of England Ratcliffe is the father of her child (Ratcliffe knows James has a soft heart where women and children are concerned and uses this to escape his death sentence). The king exiles Ratcliffe and his so-called family to the new world. Here we have Ratcliffe showing Wiggins the royal pardon he's received from the king.
Note: Prudence's marriage to Ratcliffe is legally binding because Wiggins got her to sign an actual marriage license when she first arrived in England. Ratcliffe is well aware of this and intends to use it to his full advantage. Pocahontas, Smith, Rolfe and the others are more likely to forgive the governor if he has a family. They will view Prudence and the baby as innocent bystanders and hopefully help them survive. Meanwhile, Ratcliffe will be forced to work alongside all the men (Ben (not the baker) and Lon included) he once betrayed and make peace with the Indians he loathes in order to provide for himself and his new family.
P.S. I've seriously considered writing a fanfic telling the whole story. What do you think? Should I? I'm not sure. You decide. Feedback is always encouraged and appreciated.
