Governor Ratcliffe, Prudence, Michael, Wiggins and Percy belong to Disney.
Plot: Ratcliffe married Wiggins' elder sister Prudence to gain a seat on the king's council, but because of mutual disinterest, they never consummated their marriage. When the king learned of this, he threatened to seize all their belongings and exile the couple from the kingdom unless they proved their marriage was legitimate by having an heir. Despite past misdeeds, Ratcliffe refused to force himself on Prudence, a decision that ultimately earned him her affection. Prudence then chose to adhere to the king's demand and their son was born nine months later. Here they are enjoying a stroll through town when it starts to rain.
Note: Wiggins has always been one of my fave characters, so I try to add him and Percy the pug in all my John x Pru deviations. They're a part of Ratcliffe's family too, especially since Wiggins is Prudence's little brother and Michael's uncle.
