Description It's about time I draw another White Star Line shipgirl that isn't Olympic class. But this one served both Olympic and the Titanic. Meet SS Nomadic, Titanic's littlest surviving sister.

--Background--
Nomadic's keel was laid down in 1910 at the Harland and Wolff shipyards in Belfast, Northern Ireland with the yard number 422. She was built on slipway No. 1 alongside RMS Olympic and RMS Titanic,[3] which were constructed on slipways 2 and 3, of the Arrol Gantry, respectively. She was launched on 25 April 1911 and delivered to the White Star Line on 27 May, following sea trials. She was designed by Thomas Andrews, the same guy who designed the Olympic class trio and Nomadic's sister Traffic. Both Nomadic and Traffic were designed to cater to the Olympic class out of Cherobourg Harbour, France.  They would transfer mail, luggage and passengers to and from the Olympic class since these oceanliners were too big to enter the harbor safely. She served as a auxiliary minesweeper for the French Navy during WW1. She returned to tending ships in 1919 until she was sold to Société Cherbourgeoise Transbordement in 1927. Following the merging of White Star Line and Cunard Line in 1934 and Cherbourg Harbour widened, she was no longer needed and stopped her tending duties. She was sold to the Société Cherbourgeoise de Sauvetage et de Remorquage (SCSR or Cherbourg Tow & Rescue Society) and renamed Ingenieur Minard. During World War II, Ingenieur Minard again saw service; on 18 June 1940 she took part in the evacuation of Cherbourg. She was subsequently requisitioned by the Royal Navy and based in Portsmouth harbour, where she operated as an accommodation ship. During the war, Cherbourg port was heavily damaged, so large ocean liners could no longer dock there. Ingenieur Minard was saved from the shipbreakers and again returned to tendering duties for the SCSR from Cherbourg. She served the ocean liners of the day, such as Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth. She finally retired from these duties on 4 November 1968. Ingenieur Minard would eventually become a floating restaurant in Paris. Eventually, she was seized by Paris authorities and if no one bought her, they would scrap her. Upon hearing this, heritage and maritime enthusiasts set up fundraisers to buy the vessel. eventually the 26 January 2006, the Northern Ireland government Department for Social Development bought the vessel at auction for €250,001 (the reserve price being €250,000). She return to Belfast on 12 July 2006, and arrived close to where she was built, on 18 July 2006. The Nomadic Charitable Trust took possession of Nomadic in December that year. In August 2009 Nomadic was moved to Hamilton Graving Dock, on Queen's Road, Belfast. The dock is believed to be where Nomadic was originally fitted out and has now been leased as a permanent location for Nomadic. Repairs began in February 2010 and were partially completed in February 2012. Till this day, her mast and rigging still need to be installed.

--Design--
As for Nomadic's design, take a look. I gave her a hoodie similar to Titanic's hoodie but with white frills on the sleeves and hoodie bottom. This was because she and her sister SS Traffic were the Olympic class' lil French maids. Unfortunately for you fetish freaks, I still refuse to put her in a French maid out fit. Seriously, I Fucking Hate French Maid Outfits! Also she's underage. Also she's wearing shorts like Titanic's. Minds out of the gutter kids. Other than the outfit, I got a little sloppy with the hair since it looks like Library's hairstyle from Misao. It was her that gave me some inspiration in designing Nomadic. The coke bottle glasses make her look like a plushie too. Basically, I made the most adorable shipgirl loli ever.

--Personality--
As for her personality, she speaks in a cute French accent. She's such a sweetheart too. She'll drop everything on a dime to help out the ships she tended in the past. Despite being in retirement, Nomadic and Traffic still act like the Olympic Sisters' tiny maids. She loves to go grocery shopping, cooking and gardening for them too. She's also very protective over the Olympic Sisters because she outlasted the very ships she tended to, the collapse of the White Star Line, the capture and sinking and scrapping of SS Traffic, 2 world wars, and countless scrapping attempts. She wouldn't forgive herself if she lost another sister due to the fact she still suffers from survivor's guilt. Fortunately, she never shows it. If you anger her, just watch your ass! Like my dad says to me after I harass him sometimes, "YOU HAVE TO SLEEP SOMETIME" or "I KNOW WHERE YOU SLEEP"! She will slip a active naval mine into your bed if you piss her off enough. Other than that she has the same appetite as Titanic and often dines out with her long lost big sister. Titanic and Nomadic are like two peas in a pod. Hopefully it always stays that way in their ship afterlife.

Thats all for now, and remember, enjoy the little things!
AustralianMarcus out!
