I've been reading this and it really makes me excited for KH3. Sora may not be a Keyblade Master like Riku is at the moment but I still believe he'll be the one to fix everything. I still believe he'll save everyone.

I guess it proves having the title or not doesn't make you any less capable. I hope Terra proves that at some point too in KHIII. Terra and Sora have a bigger connection than people are aware of, I think... I mean, Sora ended up receiving the keyblade that Terra had intended for Riku, among other things. o:

Actually, Sora is able to wield the Keyblade because of Ven's presence in his heart, which is also why Roxas is the spitting image of Ven. People were assuming that it just went down the list when Riku fell to darkness. Given the fact that Master Xehanort is deep in the darkness and Vanitas is pure darkness (and Ven's other half) and yet both wield Keyblades pretty much shows the Keyblade isn't that picky on who wields it. I think its a person's potential that leads the Keyblade to choosing its master. Turns out the X-blade is the dark counterpart to Kingdom Hearts, which is the source of all light, and there are Keyblades of light and dark. Kingdom Key D is a dark Keyblade. In KH1 and CoM, Riku wasn't even trying to summon one. He only succeeded at the end of KH2 with The Way to Dawn.
That said, Sora is the Key that connects everything. I think it doesn't matter that he's not a recognized Master. Sora's shown us over the past eleven years that his destiny is the greatest of all. I don't know how he's going to go about doing it but I know he'll save Aqua from the darkness, he'll find Terra, and he'll give Ven his heart back. I'm pretty sure Master Eraqus will return as well, since his heart is giving Terra an extra boost in holding Old Man Xehanort back.
My only question is whether or not Sora's ability to use the Keyblade is still tied to Ven's heart and if Ven's heart leaves, will Sora be unable to use it? I'm hoping not. I hope the Keyblade recognizes his merit and stays with him as well after Ven gets his heart back.

I don't really see any foreshadowing in the secret ending outside the fact it was a teaser for BBS.
If anything, Aqua picking up Kingdom Key D may have foreshadowed her loss to the darkness since it's a Keyblade of the Darkness. But in the same vein, Ven picked up the Way To Dawn which, by that logic, means there's a connection between him and Riku. Aside from Roxas looking like him because of Ven's heart inside Sora's, there's nothing really connecting the two.
Terra picked up the Kingdom Key, true, but if there was a connection between him and Sora, I'm not seeing it. Unless it's to further the fact that Sora will undo the Grand Theft Me that Master Xehanort pulled. Given the fact that once Terra noticed Riku's light, he didn't even notice Sora.
So many questions, Nomura! I'm hoping they'll all be answered by Saga's end!
