YES GUYS.

I AM FOR SRSLY ALIVE.

This is actually homework, would you believe.
For my art class, we had to bring in an object that would fit into the palms of our hands, and so...
I close a feather! 8D
And we had to draw that object fifty times within the space of about five hours.
Challenging. o: It was supposed to test us to see if we could think 'out side of the box'
So we could manage to get fifty drawings done quickly xD;
Anyway, the fifty feather drawings are sitting in my process diary and I ain't scanning them for a while, but what this has to do with my artwork is simple. : D
After we completed the fifty, we were supposed to draw two pictures based off our object simultaneously, using five different mediums on each (like, we could use the same five on each or whatevers xD).
So this is one of them.
My the entirety of these drawings (the fifty feathers, the two drawings and various others) all compile a huuggeee assessmennt that's due in like, two days ~ |D I'm so glad I've finished!!

So basically. This is me.

This is my official ref, guys. xD; I'll come up with a more detailed one later, but this will certainly do for now. So yeahs.

See, it's funny thing, really.
Ever since I was kid (this will sound cliché and whatever, but still, what I'm saying is true and important to me. -pokes tongue out-), I've always had this longing to fly. I still remember dreams from when I was about five years old that had me flying in them. Of course, at that stage my mind didn't fix the wings to my back like it does now, but yeah.
So as I grew up, that fascination remained in my sub conscious and sometimes it was fully aware in my mind, you know?
I used to go around collecting any pretty bird feathers I used to find in my grandparent's backyard.
Yeah, probably dumb because birds have germs and all that, but I never got sick. -giggle-
Anywaaayy, so I liked feathers, collected them sometimes...but the obsession with flying wasn't all that deep or passionate considering my age. o.o;
But then, you see...it all really came back into my conscious state of mind when Crisis Core came along.
It made me remember and realise my old childhood dream to fly and have wings...so it made me all sentimental.
Actually, it's probably one of the main reasons I adore Genesis so much, actually.
Aaannndd why I shed so many tears over that game. -sob-
So really, it was Crisis Core that reawakened my desire to fly, to break away from everyone else and be myself, and find out who I really am on the inside. See that there? I just explained my personall quootteee. Mwahaha.
Eheh, anyway. I promise this rant will end soon. -cough-
And then, later, I was in my school library with ~septasonicxx and she showed me Maximum Ride...and wow. That book was like, amazing...it really described flight so well and made me feel so jealous of the flock and all. And, it was that book that gave me my first dream where I was flying with wings.
Ever since then, all my dreams that involve flying (I've had another three since that time) with beautiful, strong and powerful wings on my back. My mind has this awesome ability to create the sensations that come with flight...the weightlessness, the wind, the rush of power and adrenaline, the freedom, the speed, the lift and wind in my feathers, the muscles in my shoulders working steadily...it's just like it's so real.
That's the second closest I've ever come to flying in my whole life.
The closest, however, was going on a flying fox last year.
I swear, it felt so amazing. Just so incredible and wonderful and and and
I was able to stretch my entire body out and I felt like I was flying for just that brief moment...I so wish I could experience that again.
Hopefully, I will. <3;
