Tch! I know I'm late to notice, but my cousin got on my DA account and did some weird stuff. Evidently, she left that simple comment and un-faved this thinking she was faving it or something. How irritating! I was very distressed to find this missing from my [few] favorites on this site, and now I'm back for it!

Such prettiness! Great motion and lighting! The character alone as well as the background are such amazing works of art in themselves, but together, they set quite the gypsy-like mood beautifully. Heehee, I was just raiding your gallery, and this one caught my eye. I like this a lot. ^__^ Always so glad to run into artists like you on this site!

omg thank you so much. yeah, I love doing backgrounds now (I used to hate them) but my creativity lacks in that department, so many of my pics recently don't have them. Well, that and I can be lazy *giggles* but I hope bg's become second nature to me somtime

Backgrounds... When I get off my lazy artistic rear and draw them, people say they look pretty good. But, alas, I'm afraid I'm just not that energetic most of the time. And, I'm not very creative with backgrounds, so most of my pictures feature the same repeating backgrounds... And that's not good, either... ^____^ Art is such exquisite torture, no? Wouldn't be so much fun if it were easy all the time.

It would be nice if it was easy. sound's like you have the same problem as me LOL. my biggest problems when it comes to bg's is light source.. it's always like, messed up most of the time.. Ok, that made no sense. but I have to go check your gallery out now anyway

Light sources... I can't even begin! They confuse me. At least yours have a light source, even if it differs between the character and background. I'm unable to do barely any shading at all, let alone a light source! Wah! I need to practice. But, I'm so uninspired this time of year... Summer and Winter, that's when I always suffer from terrible artist's block.
