BEHOLD! A pony portrait! XD haven't done one in a while, and I think I am pretty happy with the improvement over the last one. I am excited to have been playing around with hair and trying to get deeper shades that I will continue to try to bring out. :3Β This has made a great practice for the more complete scenes I would love to do with some ponies in the future :3

I have heard the trick for making quick volume in detail is to cross strokes like x'es with flow and opacity set rather low in the general flow of the hair.
Though I haven't really gotten to test that part to much extent yet because my workflow model doesn't quite fit this way of working on images today.

Her lower jaw is a little oversized I feel, but other than that the shading and the mane/hair look really nice^^
