I've been working on this for the past few days.
this was the idea that came to me a few days ago in the wee hours of the morning. The original version was much smaller in my mind, with only one emote, playing the whole song.
Quite obviously, it didn't turn out that way. I spent several hours pixelling the notes, staffs, cleft, dynamics, details, and all that fun stuff. Like, HOURS. I'm pretty sure it was average 5 hours a day for three days. Not counting the actual emotes.
I am happy to finally be able to put something up here dealing with my love of violin music, and all the better that I could portray it with emotes. I absolutely love this piece, if for no other reason than that.
This is an actual piece of music. This is Waltz No. 2 from Jazz Suite No. 2 by Dmitri Shostakovitch. It is also the piece I will be playing for my next violin recital.
Please forgive the rough animation. It was very hard correlating all the emotes in one animation.

This is a fantastic piece of work for an emote!
I was curious to see what it was when I say it was only labeled as "preview" on the DD list, and I'm very impressed.
As a classical musician, I'm familiar with this piece. I actually went to youtube and searched the name to see if it was the piece I was originally thinking of and could not have been happier to see how the sheet music is extremely similar to the original one.
The only thing I would change about this is the way the song key is written. Instead of having to go through the hassle of jotting down each individual flat or sharp note through the piece, the problem is solved by putting the E flat, A flat and B flat next to the treble clef, and noting the key change when it comes later in the song.
Other than that, I couldn't be more impressed with this piece.
I'm particularly fond of how each of the four emotes, although all holding a violin, are in different positions- and it can be seen, even in their small size, that they are holding the violins correctly. Amazing job! a.deviantart.net/avatars/i/l/i… " alt=" " title="IloveItplz"/>

Well to start i am simply in love with this piece! The complexity of the music has a stunning effect when it is first witnessed, and a nice touch with the cute emotes sitting on top of the music playing thier own on a little violin! The dedication to this piece and the effort put in shines through and is well shown, a well deserved Daily Deviation. This is also intriging as you want to not only know what the piece sounds like but play it for your self, on a violin with the other playing emotes at your side! That's because this is, sadly, merely an animation and has no audio connected to it. But it should be an easy piece to locate on youtube or something if you want to hear it (if you haven't already).
