I did this a little over a year ago, in some art class. The teacher kept telling me to put the light on first and I told her she was stupid I should but the dark on first so I could erase over it and actually make it look it like fur so she kicked me out ;_; But HAHA! It came out better then the rest of the class. I finished it at home... only took me three hours in all though... then I would just fiddle with it in class pretending I was adding fine details so I wouldn't have to do the stupid collage they were working on.Anyways, I found it so I just decided to scan it in. It's the only finished work I have left at the moment. Oh and if your confused about the name "Halloween Colours in Hiding" well, tigers are orange and black... and those are Halloween colours... and tigers are renowned for their hiding skills... so... in hiding

it looks like the eyes are angled a bit wrong, but other than that i really like it! and of course stories always make art so much better

I just love this one; the way it blends in, but still seems to pop out of the surrounding canvas gives it an extra edge. I also really like the texture you gave this, and with charcoal, too! Extra kudos for that one. The left eye seems slightly off, as it is slanted more than the other, but that's just me. Great work!

Yeah I can't remember what went wrong with the left eye... so long ago and I don't have the original picture which I should really search for on the internet. Thankyou for the beautiful comments and the favourite too

Yes... this is the only time I used charcoal but it is quite fun I don't know why I didn't keep using it... hmmm...

Yeah tell me about it, I had one great art teacher she was strict but she knew how to appreciate talent.. then she got retired and we got this idiotic one that like always gave me law grades, b**** please, I was always the best at art in my class and that stupid woman was telling me what to do? I don't think so... Let's face it, if they were such great artists they'd be artists and not art teachers!
