Ah man this is great. I live in south florida and I've seen Gators in big Cyprus forests, crocs in the mangrove forests, and  caimans in the eastern portion of  everglades. (Even though friends of mine found them in alligator alley, and some near an air force base in homestead). But we do have also alot of iguanas.

And yes your right deinosuchus used to be called Phobosuchus. As a kid, i first saw its name on zoobooks. Great artwork.

The first reconstruction of "Phobosuchus" I ever saw had Fobby wrapping its jaws around the leg of a lambeosaur

Huh! Interesting, i always wanted to see a fossil of it. But it's sad that deinosuchus isn't getting the famous attention as sarcosuchus is getting. The only i saw deinosuchus is only in PaleoWorld series, where in one episode showed it.

It's a proven fact that Deinosuchus hated fast food.

I like the angle in which this pursuit of predator and prey is viewed from. I feel sorry for the little guy but I'm thankful I'm not in his place, though. I think I'll call him Roger.

Run, Roger, run!

Oh...I am afraid that at times it is a guilty pleasure... *sulk*

Though tonight I am having a salad with grilled pork! Yeahh! No fast food today.

I like the way you set the pic up so that the lines of the alligator leads the viewer's eyes to the prey.

I wonder if it's gauche to say "it tastes like chicken" from a time before chickens appeared yet?
