Yea, who doesn't love Mort <3. I have 5 little sugar gliders, 4 classic grays and a leucistic named lilly. They are all rescues and I love them all very, very much.

Oh my gosh What are they like, as pets I mean? I have never met someone who has them in real life but I've wondered about it. Are they a bit like rodent pets (like rats) or very different?

They are great, Momo (one of the 2 boys) tends to bite a bit, he does it because he loves you but it hurts a lot . They are very different than most rodents, I have had hamsters and guinea pigs, but I have never had a rat sadly, always wanted one. I hand make their food and I clean thier cage everyday, but thats about it when it comes to similarities, oh and they run on a wheel, but other than that they are very different animals. For one, these guys have more developed hands, almost like a lemur or monkey and are actually even more smart then rats. They become bonded to you and I take Lilly and Rockie everywhere ... in my shirt XD. They have been to olive garden and the movies, other places of the like. They are tree dwellers not burrowers and they like to be up high, they are colony animals as well so they love their friends. They make unusual noises when you try and go to sleep, like barking, and crabbing. I spend 2 hours with them a day, talking to them in the cage or getting them out, they are worth way more than all the work you put into them though. I love them dearly and they are the best pets I think I have ever had, well tied with dogs and cats. They also live longer than rodents, they live 10-15 and sometimes even up to 20 years if you treat them right. They eat a variety of things, for Christmas we bought them a whole stalk of sugar cane, they would not stop eating it XD.

Thats just general information, there is a lot more I could tell you but I think that that is most of it XD sorry for the wall of text.
