"Gone. I live with trolls now."
"You—what?"
"Yeah, they just adopted me!"
"They…huh??"
Sharing a meal with a lost looking little kid ended in Hiccup feeling misplaced envy regarding the one thing he never accomplished.
Finding a troll.
One of the magical things about Hitchups is that Hiccup gets to meet an untold number of characters. I've been having some major papa!Hiccup feels these days, and I can just see him taking wee Kristoff under his wing, and being one of the few human influences in Kristoff's life (and kind of where Kristoff got that '[insert creatures] are better than humans' mentality).
Plus, at this point in his life (1700s/1800s?) Hiccup's really rocking that ponytail. WOOOO!

I FINALLY got to see Frozen and one of the first things I thought, after all the "awe!"s, seeing baby Kristoff was this picture and now feel the need to pressure you to do more of him and Hiccup through other stages of Kristoffs life

But there was a connection there, I think. Between Hiccup's Doris and Astrid issues, and then Kristoff leaving Anna - I think Olaf made a misjudged crack about that - him loving her enough to abandon her? Who knows.

Hmmm, yes and no… except Hiccup left Doris and Astrid for entirely different reasons. He left Doris for his and Toothless's sake (and he had NO idea where she stood, if he could ever trust her). Astrid also wasn't much of an option because of HIS life choices. Kristoff left Anna because he thought she would be better off, not because he thought it would be better for him.

Seriously? (Looks back.) I suppose that could be right. I was just kind of appalled at the castle servants' behavior - this guy comes and saves her life, and they literally slam the door in his face, instead of, like, treating him to a banquet or something. I figured that Kristoff didn't think she needed him after that. (Shrug.) But that makes a lot more sense. XD

That's really clever and very well done. Cute Sven Reindeer, too. I like high pony tail Hiccup has as well. I always pictured with his hair long enough to wear up that high.
It'd make sense that the Hitchups Hiccup would wind up spending some time in Norway.
