I guess that depends on how passionate you are about the topic

One's efforts dedicated to something will depend on their own dedication and enjoyment of said subject

It seemed and continues to seem that nobody dedicates themselves to RWBY. It's franchises that's so praised yet so unloved, so I decided to take the role. I think I might legitimately be the biggest RWBY nerd out there, however that really isn't saying much.

I like the series and find the lore quite interesting.
I am curious about so much that the universe doesn't expand upon.
There are also some theories concerning the RWBY verse and the meta

Many fan theories are incredibly poorly researched, they do more misinforming than informing. It'd be better to know about what the universe does expand upon before you focus on what it doesn't.

True. Many theories are technically hypotheses.
I think its mostly to pass time until actual info comes out.
Misinforming is natural outcome of poor research for most time.
I have a few hypotheses that cross into universes if you are interested.

One of my common theories revolve RWBY universe and the Warhammer 40 000 universe.
Still curious?

Naturally.
Though I do have have thought behind it.
40k is very much antithesis of RWBY in terms of viewing oneself.

40k focuses on massive stakes and battles. Human life is nigh limitless resource for the Imperium. Its in a state of constant war and each day that the Imperium perseveres is a victory despite the horrific cost of lives.
Look at Last Battle of Cadia, there were about 850 million Imperial troops active in its defence and the casualties were appalling.
Less 85 million were left/evacuated after its loss.
Average Imperial Guard regiment is about 2000 troops. And have an average lifespan of 16hrs.
Whereas RWBY, individualism is embraced and life is precious. Collectivism is frowned upon.
Which lead to my hypotheses of the cause of the Great War was in fact a incompatibility with the two societies. It was members of high Mantle society who went a little crazy and thought something that extreme would work. That kind of behavior would extreme even by Imperial standards but if results speak, then it will be allowed.

Not shocked by the Fall of Cadia?
I can tell the Remnant folk, they'd be mortified and appalled at such losses. Don't even think there are that many people (and Faunus) on the world.
The hypotheses elaborates on at some time ago the Imperium came into contact with Remnant and left some folk to help colonize it.
Years pass and contact is lost due to X factor (usually Warp Storms). The Imperial descendants have successfully integrated into Mantle.
However, the Grimm threat begins to take a toll on their need for order and they lose gradually their minds. Then they implement the art ban policy which leads to the Great War.
How's that Dr?
