Please, full view since DA is having some problems with thumbnails.I am quite proud, i haven't done anything in coloring pencils in a while, but i was amazed to see that the coloring via digital pen really gave me a lot of experience on real media.
A jaguar (i wanted her to look like one -_- )and a giant golden idol. I will try my luck at Furbid, since i DO need some money!

After reading the other comments I have noticed the perspective of the temple is a bit off but still it doesn't ruin the image. The setting matches perfectly and the character is a real beauty.

You have the ultimate understanding of color, I must say -- they all go together so well, and I cannot spot a single spot where they clash. They're also very rich and the fact that they're all earthy works so well :3 Nice job on the anatomy and pose, too. Excellent all together.

Pues mira Gonzalo que a causas de mi servicio social que hago los fines de semana, ya no voy a Montemorelos que es donde tengo mi internet. Todo este semestre y lo que van de las vacaciones he entrado esporΓ‘dicamente al MSN, sobre todo los sabados en la tarde despues de mi servicio social. It's a beautiful picture to be sure. However as an aficionado of Mayan art I feel there are some things worth pointing out:
1. The ancient Maya never developed metallurgy. Instead, the most valued materials among the Maya were jade, feathers, and rubber. And statuary would have been made of stone, covered with stucco, brightly painted, and occassionaly inlaid with semipreciosu stones (example: obsidian disks on the bodies of jaguar statues in Copan)
2. Ix Chel was a regional variation (there are several Mayan languages) of the young moon goddess. While normally shown human, she would have had much stronger ties to rabbits than to jaguars, and is frequently shown holding a rabbit.

Haha, i know all of that, i just improvised with some designs. And i named her Ixchel because i had already used Xochitl on another character, so i personally prefer Xochitl as a name of a girl. I don't mind the "corrections" but i wasn't aiming for a culture. As i told you i was just having fun with the design, (people might have killed me for mixing chinese, japanese and thailand's culture in just one character)i do that a lot! X3

LOL Yeah. Don't mind me. I have OCD and I'm a stickler for historical accuracy. (Besides which, Ix Chel [or Xquic as she was known among the Quiche Maya] was the mother of Xbalanque the jaguar god, so...meh.)

Looks really good, excellent looking color. Nice details as well.
One thing kinda bothers me though, the stone statue in the back looks kinda weird, I thin the perspective might be a bit off.
