Description
The RB-1B (Ruchnaya Bashnya — Translated as Hand Cannon, from Russian-to-English) heavy machine gun is a gas-operated, air-cooled, unlinked, electrically fired weapon. It can be used in both anti-vehicle and anti-personnel roles. The weapon was designed to be used by Heavy-Weapons troopers as crowd control as well as a ‘cover-buster’. The RB-1B is also commonly mounted on low altitude gunships, as they provide excellent air-to-ground cover.
