Description Fëanor for the illustrated family tree. Posted alone because a) he's Fëanor and I bet he won't stand for sharing the page with anyone inferior () and b) I don't have anyone else done at the moment and I'm impatient (and too busy to know how long it'll take to get someone else done.

He was a stubborn one, but I'm satisfied with how he came out. Worked to make him look something like Curufin but a bit more noble (if that makes sense), which was interesting, working backwards on the tree like that. I imagine that this is the "Yes, I am the High Prince of the Noldor" version of Fëanor, as opposed to the "Leave me alone, I'm forging things" version, who is probably rather more unkempt and sweaty (and probably happier XD).

I like this circlet much better than the last one.

Yes. Feanor definitely needs his own page. Otherwise...

He's handsome. You succeeded in making him look like Curvo, but nobler. I like how bright his eyes are. Those beads at the end of the braid work surprisingly well. I wouldn't have thought of putting beads in any elf's hair, but it looks good.

You should definitely do the "Leave me alone" picture....

Please explain to me how, in spite of me telling you nothing about how I imagine Feanor, you have made a picture that looks more like my mental image of him then any other picture I have seen of him? And I have looked at thousands of pictures (literally, every picture that shows up searching Feanor on DA, Elfwood, and all the Tolkien fansites I'm a member of, as well as many Google image results.)?

I adore this.... His hair, and nose, and circlet, and expression is just perfect for him....seriously, this is almost the exact person as my mental image (the only thing different in my mind is the clothes, and the color of the star....) *stares*

Some time you should do a "Leave me alone, I'm forging things" version of him, so I can have more fuel for my fangirling....*stares some more*

I literally just did a little dance there. XD I have no idea, other than the fact that I'm magical. I'm actually really glad you like him, because there are so many drastically different versions of him, and he's one that everybody has their version of, so I didn't know if anyone would like mine.

You're welcome! (Much like yours, except the undershirt thing doesn't go as high up his neck...and the Star is silver, and I normally picture him with one embroidered in silver thread on some part of his clothes...and he's a prince, of course he has more then one outfit. )

(Yeah...I don't see it even in his really formal clothes, I think even then, Feanor would scorn it as restrictive or something (my Feanor totally scorns all standards set by society....) Well, remember when I said I'd literally read every word in LotR? That includes the index...and under the entry for Feanor, in my book, it says "Fëanor {page numbers}; letters see Elvish writing; Star of the House of Fëanor [of silver, had eight rays]{more things}"....so, in spite of me preferring red and gold, I do the star in silver (because Yay! for OCDness.....)

(True, but I imagine he would find formal clothes restrictive in general...(My Feanor generally does, but he still cares about his status as Finwe's eldest son, and about his reputation because it reflects on his father's, so he'll kind of suffer through that formal royal BS when he needs to. Other than that he does whatever the hell he wants. XD) Haha, I've read the indexes too, I just didn't remember that. For some reason, though, gold just always seems to fit Feanor better, to me...

(Yeah, same here....(In my universe, Finwe doesn't make Feanor do or wear anything he hates, and none of the Noldor are brave placed high enough, to tell Finwe or Feanor what Feanor should be wearing...) If something strikes me as important or interesting, it gets stuck in my brain...yeah, it does to me too, but for some reason, my OCDness won't let me do it without protesting (though, if my OCD tendencies are going to show up in that and pen type, I'm not going to stress over it too much...)
