Description This bae was my unofficially adopted, giant mechanical baby for 4 years. I would spend so many hours after school (or just skip days) chilling under the wings of this beautiful DC-3 drawing or just reading a stack of new comic books. She doesn't fly anymore these days, not after a tornado had ripped through the Sun n Fun airshow back in 2010 and tossed her into a ditch like a paper plane, completely destroying her elevators. We started restoring her to be flight worthy before the tornado, but after it, all the parts we made were packed up and locked away in some storage on the airport.

If I could ever get the money someday, I'd absolutely love to buy this big, beautiful plane from the air museum and make it fly again.

Yup, I spent half of Sun n Fun this year chilling under there with some pretty awesome people. Pretty sure one of the dudes I was hanging out with was a NASA engineer, the other dude was legit an Air Force One pilot. Tho at night in that same side of the airport, it's so dark you can't even see your own hands.

It's a really great airplane, I just wish I could see it fly again
