Wanted to play with the oval format, and I really like some of the old-time type styles...

Waw, absolutely amazing! The smoothness of shading is absolutely perfect (tortillions? q-tips? Fingers?), and the intensity of black is so deep! She really looks so lifelike, so real, and I love how you caught that twinkle about her eyes

I used a 4b pencil, ang then went over the shadows with a graphite stick. Normally I use cotton balls and q-tips for details, but on this I used an old paintbrush. It was a 1.5" or 2", fairly stiff natural bristles, leftover from a 3-pak I bought to do the trim around my front door

The shading is so soft, it looks kinda real. Like an old photograph
