Description When you go out a touristing, the most interesting stuff is always behind closed doors, like this workshop where the sound of hammers, bits and chisels fills the air with a sense of a simpler time when machines are just something you have heard of but don't care about. The high pitched dinging sound of the iron pounding against the bronze castings as it forms various detailed works of arts intended for religious use. You can stand there and close your eyes and just listen to the sounds of this traditional way of working that has been handed down for hundreds of years and manages to survive not only because of the remoteness of this workshop, but because it is not desired to change to modern techniques. If you talk to these people, get to know them a bit, then you are open to a totally different world that many people, like those two Americans, and myself, find intriguing.

nice shot. Good use of b/w. I wish I managed to put my 20D in as good use.

really awesome. you captured so much in this picture. I especially like the girl on the bottom left. Shes not paying any attention while the others are.
