This is an outdated version of my Diamondhead design.
Character:
- Diamondhead, the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Petrosapien from the planet Petropia.
As Ben grows older, so do his aliens. As one of Ben's toughest aliens, there's not much you can improve upon with age, other than pure skill and training. Diamondhead has grown more crystal shards around his body, granting him even more defense than ever before, which allows Ben to focus on his older abilities instead of having to learn new ones. Along with that, Ben has learned a new trick with Diamondhead's species specifically, allowing him to call on a sturdy, Crystalsapien-like obsidian coating that encases his head when in danger, protecting him from any trauma to his head itself, making Diamondhead an absolute juggernaut of strength. While the armor protects his head from trauma, the tradeoff is decreased visibility and precision.
Strengths and Abilities:
- Immense Durability: Diamondhead's entire body is comprised of hard and durable crystalline material. With his body being incredible durable. Diamondhead is capable of enduring immense amounts of damage and pressure. Parts of his body will begin to crack and chip off if seriously injured, but can be recovered.
- Enhanced Strength: The crystals on his body also provide Diamondhead with a large amount of strength, which he can use to deal a variety of effective melee attacks instead of relying on his ranged crystal attacks.
- Regeneration: Diamondhead is able to regenerate his crystals if damaged, but this process can sometimes be slow and not immediate, depending on the portion of his body that he is recovering. Arms and legs take the least amount of time to recover, but any damage to his torso or head could take a significant amount of time to heal.
- Crystallokinesis: Diamondhead is able to control, generate, and manipulate crystal objects, which can come in many different forms, such as structures, weapons, or shards.
- Crystalsapien Armor: The Petrosapien's were originally created by a Crystalsapien scientist named Sugilite, who was the last of his kind and guardian of the Petrosapien people. In certain cases of the Petrosapien population, a very rare few were imbued with traces of Crystalsapien DNA, which begins to manifest itself as they age in the form of a Crystalsapien coating that can be generated and summoned at will. Diamondhead's DNA sample was taken from a Petrosapien who has this, which means Diamondhead is able to form a Crystalsapien shell-like armor around parts of his body, practically anywhere except for his arms and spikes, which makes him much more durable than ever before.
- Energy Refraction and Absorption: Diamondhead is able to use his crystals to refract and absorb energy blasts, redirecting them or negating them all together. In some instances, there is too much energy to refract or absorb, and Diamondhead will instead be blasted backwards.
Weaknesses:
- Sonic Vibrations: Sonic vibrations can harm Diamondhead and reduce the integrity of his crystals, making them much more susceptible to shattering.
- Crystalsapien Armor Visibility: When Diamondhead uses his Crystalsapien armor to cover his head fully, a portion of his visibility is lost as the armor covers parts of his peripheral vision.
- Crystalsapien Mobility: When Diamondhead uses his Crystalsapien armor to cover most of his body, he is much heavier than before and moves at a much slower pace. Realistically, the only time Diamondhead should use the full extent of his armor is when he is in extreme danger.
Omnitrix Awakened Story:
- A new, rebooted retelling of the Ben 10 story starting from Alien Force and ending in Omniverse. Notable changes are that in the 5 year gap between Ben 10 and Ben 10: Alien Force, Ben never took off the watch, but his heroic activities became less and less frequent over time. Gwen is not an Anodite and her family has no Anodite ancestry, but Anodites do exist within the context of the story. Kevin still retains any alien transformation he's ever absorbed from the Omnitrix, but using them causes mental instability, so he instead typically absorbs energy or material when in a fight. As Ben grows older, so do his aliens . Each of his previous transformations have grown in some way, shape, or form, and are more powerful and versatile than ever. Most will also have new and updated designs. During the onset of the Highbreed invasion and the disappearance of Grandpa Max, Ben must assemble a team that can combat this growing threat. The story will be told through various posts of mine in the descriptions of each alien, character, or villain, showcasing their role in the story.
