Description Ever since the first film has been released in 2009, it has a lot of great positives around the world, and they have been dying to see a sequel for thirteen years. Here are my thoughts on the Avatar franchise.

Avatar, Rating: Masterpiece
Made by the same person that made Terminator 2 and Titanic, this film was a blast in marketing and being shown in IMAX 3D. It shows a lot of pure cinematography with a help of intense CGI and the effort of hiring a cast. Jake Sulley is for the first time ever hero protagonist to be handicapped, which is a good step-up of understanding the life of a handicapped, autistic, and special person. The human marines are able to control as the citizens of the planet Pandora, they became tall space cats. Later on, Jake has discovered a forest princess that lives in a tribe where Jake himself is getting along really fast, so he and the tribe start defending the homeland and defeat the antagonist general. Boy, what a fantastic movie.

Avatar The Way of Water, Rating: Masterpiece
Yes, 20th Century Fox has it's name changed to 20th Century Studios for a "half Disney/half Fox" deal, just like how Marvel has it's "half Disney/half Sony" deal. My point is that no matter how changed the studio is, the Avatar movie franchise will never change a thing. They have brought back the roots from the first film, indicating that even when it takes thirteen years to figure out, it still has pure cinematography with intense CGI and a great cast. It appears that some of the controlled-catpeople are on the military bad side and only some of the humans are on the nature good side. The theme is perfect, the first one focuses on the forest, and now the sequel focuses on the reef. Showing more variety of the cat people and creatures are mindblowing due to how they work and how they survive. Even Jake Sulley has a family now, good for him. Also, it has great character development. Man, what an amazing sequel.
