Good parents would know better and check their kids bags. However, a bunch of people will still receive said candy anyway, and not have even been aware of this warning.

Sound enough advice not to eat weird treats; even though I think the likely hood of these ending up in trick or treat bags is slim and an unfounded fear.
I feel like there are more economical ways for creeps to poison children than giving out free popular party drugs to everyone. I don't buy or use recreational drugs so I'm not knowledgeable on the value, but I have a feeling that just one of those little pills is going to be worth a pretty penny. And the colors and shapes are more to entertain really high people than to trick kids. They're not lying that these can be dangerous though.
Remember: don't stick weird things strangers hand to you at raves in your mouth. :K

I know the drug is either Ecstasy or LSD by the looks of it (depending on the type they can both look extremely similar in pill form, which is shown in the picture in the journal). Not sure about the states thought but like awhorns said, I'd just watch out for them all together.
