But seriously, why do you have to get the Day one in Sun only (not counting Poni Wilds)? Now I have to trade Ruffy the Rockruff (based on Amethyst's partner in this cringy fanfic of mine legacy-galaxy.deviantart.com/g… ) to Sun so my sister can evolve him when the time comes for him to do so. I have Moon. My sister got the other version. Do the math.

I know it said something about these forms being version-exclusive... but I hope it's wrong. I really hope we can get them both in the games without trading, by evolving them at different times of day...
Maybe that's what they meant. Like, it'll be easier to get each form in its respective version because of the 12-hour difference.
Either way, I really want them both... but if things don't work out like I want, there's always trading.

Does anyone agree that midday shouldve been rock/fairy and midnight form shouldve been rock/dark it only makes sense since one is a wolf and the other a were wolf

It's hard for me to choose which one to use. I think I'll go with the Midday Form for now. Maybe when we see their stats we will have a better understanding about this pokemon.

they are not exclusive...its like Umbreon and Espeon...they evolve by whether its night or day.

You get the right one if Rockruff evolves at night.
