Description This happened in my street late last year. I saw some smoke coming up behind a building and went out to see what it was. Saw the burning car and a couple of fire engines there. Went back up to my flat, grabbed the camera and took some shots. When I was there the situation seemed under control. Apparently the petrol tank of the BMW was leaking and somehow the leak caught on fire and the hole car went up in flames. I just hope no one was hurt.
Oh, and in all the excitement of the moment, I forgot to adjust my ISO setting and it was set on auto. So I though with that much noise the pics would work better in B&W.

Classic "heat of the moment" (please excuse the horrific pun, no other way it could be said ) shot there, yes it's noisy but it also relays a feeling of intensity and danger almost. Very well done.

Wow! i love how the fire hose works as a guideline so i can travel up to the smoke also, its a bit grainy, but who cares?!

Thanks real glad you like it. I didn't have much of a choice with the noise, so B&W seemed like the best thing to do
