Paul is a natural dork and loves to be the Know-It-All. However even when he enjoys learning random stupid facts, his lack of human contact leads him to be an awkward blushing man at the age of 24, giving him a sort of childish air. Even hough he isn’t perfect around people, when he is outside and not working, Paul will stop and help old ladies across the street or pick up someones fallen groceries.
During his hours of work, Paul’s perfectionism attitude pushes him into frustration easily (His frustration also appearing in his day to day life). Always throwing and ripping paper out of his note books and restarting over and over again. No mater what, everything needs to go how he planned it out.
★ History:
Paul grew up in a small Canadian, Nova Scotian town. His family, an ordinary family of four: Mom, Dad, his older sister Samantha and himself. Life was good. Life was perfect. And life was extremely boring.
Growing up he moved into a rickety apartment and made it his goal to escape his life as a small town Journalist for the local Newspaper. Even though his fondness of writing pushed him into the job, the job itself was awful as he never got to write what he wanted. The news was small. The news was the same. The news was boring. Boring. It seemed liked Boring was becoming apart of his life, and what really drove him to realize this was when his Sister moved to France because of her successful Advertising career in which she worked with famous brands. Paul on the other hand had wished for such a miracle.
Even though he hated his work, Paul was obsessed with it. The thought processes running through him as ‘If I work harder, I’ll achieve greater’, which pushed him forward to frustration. This cued daily cycles of locking himself in his apartment and writing until his hand went numb or his fingers cramped up. He hated his job, yet in some sadistic sense he seemed to thrive in it. Although- Fast forward a couple years and he realized his work was destroying his interactions with actual life. He was lonely and neglectful. And what better way to fill loneliness than working more?
And so Paul worked.
And worked.
And wished.
Paul wished for what he had wished for since he was a little boy. Owning a BoatHouse and traveling around the world, writing about his own adventures rather than the abnormal weather his town was having. Sometimes during his breaks of frustration, he would write himself stories. Stories of him being a pirate. Stories of him defeating the Roman Empire. Stories of him and his BoutHouse.
Writing was becoming his spinning downward cycle of solitude. Writing to work. Writing to escape reality. And once his sister got married in France, Paul really understood how much he craved someone. Anyone. Even with his distaste for reality.
Falling asleep at his desk one night. He woke into the world he wished he could live in forever.
((SHORT VERSION: Paul hate/loves his job so much he's obsessed with it and locks himself in his apartment to make sure his work is perfect, which secludes himself from The Real World. He wishes he could be more adventurous but he's a total wuss and writes about adventures instead.))

The sun was just starting to float low over the last clouds. Sending a flow of warm, yet cool, colours across the cityscape while it set; the perfect opportunity for a quiet Chinchilla. An opportunity for what? Definitely stealing. It had been too long... Way, too long. So sliding quietly across the deserted pathways, and winding his way with innocent features, Nicolás spotted it. Them, in correction. A shimmering, hypotonic, glowing plethora of trophies that needed to be picked from the tall Antler man. Who was scary- But... From behind, Nico supposed he was less terrifying.... Keeping that image, the hybrid nimbly climbed up on to a little canopy over one of the shops that supported his light weight in order to become taller than the tall man and to reach the jewelry with more ease. However- As soon as the Antler Man was in shot, Nico leaned too far down as he was so entranced by the shiny strings of silver that he toppled over the canopy with a sharp squeaky cry and landed right on top of the man he was trying to steal from.
