i dont hate ur work and it seems like u have a good friend base....me..well i just started drawing last year i hate most of my work to i only like about 25% of it....i hate when u work for ever on a drawing then it turns out like shit but i guess thats what being an artist is all bout...plus i cant do pastels thier really messy hard to blend and take a certain love( like u have)

idk drawings just kinda been hanging around all my life(not to brag) i havent had any art lessons so if i mess up on terms im sorry....i like the texuters u have in ur pencil(or charcaol cant tell) i also like the style and the depth i think ur pastels r well blended and easy to look at(some art work is so harsh and messy) also with the one that u drew when gee was lying down in the white shirt u put all sorts of cool colors not alot of ppl do that ok im rambling ill stop

AWws, im crappy at using correct terms too..he he. well yesturday i showd my moms bf some of my realy old drawings and he said i used the same smudging technique as him when he was younger, he then told me bout ppl always telling him not to smudge and ppl used to tell me that too, and he told me not to listen to stuff like that because, There is no right or wrong about art, and i think im just coming to realise that bout my self so im gonna try to not be se harsh on my self, i too didnt have drawin lessons,.it came naturaly for me, and im just learning how to control how i use the certain things like pencil/charcol/pastels. its fun x

thats the buity of art...sorry i just woke up and am groggy and cant spell any ways i herd to never smudge with ur fingers....is that the same as blending then?hmm.my grandpa use to paint water color and oil pastels and sum of the shit he would do blew me away....i guess in oarder to just do sumthing naturally u have to have a nag and a drive to do it and just understand how u can hone certain skills in the prosess your work is amazing!

Sorry its been soo long, been kinda cut off from the net. I was told NEVER to smudge coz thats how i used to work. But ya know what i also hurd NO art is 'wrong' so Smudge if u feel u work better that way. I look back on my old stuff when i used to smudge n there is a dramatic difference, my work is better now, i cross hatch n stuff but i had to start sum where n smudging is where i started then i developed it evryone has to start somewhere, NO ART IS WRONG. Do what u feel is best for you. Blending is different from smudging its hard to explain,u dnt use ur fingers coz oil pastels will saorta leave the colour on your fingers so if u smudge u will smudge the colour onto the page n mess it up, i use the actual pastel to blend. hope ive helped. xx
