Finally, I'm finish with my latest MLP Fanart. This one is of course Twilight Sparkle . Great Celestia, did this take me some time to do. From the horse to the human I have to do some arrangements, and about the time I'm to set up for the render I notice something missing. Why should I do Twilight if I don't add her "Number One Assistant" Spike the Dragon So yeah I have to prepare to do spike as well. So I did that played some more Skyrim and about a week of work I finally finish it.Now my Mane six pics are complete. I do some more later but for now I'm going do some other Artworks. I might come back and do Zecora or the Alicorn Princesses soon, but for right now I'll take a break on the Ponies. I hope you enjoy this pic and Thank you!

I'll consider it. I want to get together six more ponies
to do when I ready to come back. Derpy was more realistic
then any other pony, but I guess the crazy pony from the
hospital is A O.K.

Well you did that main six, so I guess that leaves Background Six: Derpy, Dr. Whooves, Bon Bon, Lyra, Luna, and Celestia. Course the last two could probably be replaced with two others.

Ponies and horses are not the same thing exactly. It's a complicated definition based on the size of their head, eyes, and ear shape and proportions. Some ponies are actually the same size as other horses. While some horses are even smaller than average ponies.
Typically though Ponies are stronger. While a young horse/foal of the same size could not work or carry weight a pony can. They are much stronger for their size than a horse is.
Though I have to agree that your twilight looks more a horse than a pony. It's mostly because of the legs and head. While I don't want to get into super detail with that (that's what makes the whole definition of ponies and horses complicated), that is the major area of focus if you want to make it look like a pony. You might want to do your own research.
